"A" Level Overall Entries and Pass Rates Analysis-2000-2012

Following the release of “O” Level last week, a heated debate has erupted as the performance of candidates indicates an awful state of the education sector in Zimbabwe. David Coltart, the minister of education has been on the firing line as his political rivals have taken the opportunity to revile him. However, Coltart says the performance is reflective of the rot in the country’s education owing to a decade long economic decline. He says the sector is on the recovery path.
